Abstract
L’auteure s’interroge sur le poids de l’implication de journalistes d’enquête suisses dans la configuration publique de « l’Affaire Maudet ». Mêlant analyse de discours et analyse de la « carrière » de l’événement, son étude montre que les journalistes d’enquête ont une responsabilité à la fois sociale et énonciative dans l’émergence et le développement de l’affaire. La prise en charge de cette responsabilité pèse sur les configurations qu’ils donnent de l’événement et en fait des cibles potentielles de critiques. Émerge alors un métarécit sur la quête de vérité des journalistes, qui sert de support de légitimation du quatrième pouvoir.
