Todos nos preocupamos por el bien de las personas que amamos, en particular por nuestros nios, adolescentes y jvenes.En efecto, sabemos que de ellos depende el futuro de nuestra ciudad.Por tanto, no podemos menos que interesarnos por la formacin de las nuevas generaciones, por su capacidad de orientarse en la vida y de discernir el bien del mal, y por su salud, no slo fsica sino tambin moral.Ahora bien, educar jams ha sido fcil, y hoy parece cada vez ms difcil.() Por eso, se habla de una gran "emergencia educativa", confirmada por los fracasos en los que muy a menudo terminan nuestros esfuerzos por formar personas slidas, capaces de colaborar con los dems y de dar un sentido a su vida.() Adems, se habla de una "ruptura entre las generaciones", que ciertamente existe y pesa, pero es, ms bien, el efecto y no la causa de la falta de transmisin de certezas y valores.() tambin un clima generalizado, una mentalidad y una forma de cultura que llevan a dudar del valor de la persona humana, del significado mismo de la verdad y del bien; en definitiva, de la bondad de la vida.Entonces, se hace difcil transmitir de una generacin a otra algo vlido y
