Abstract
Face aux problematiques environnementales actuelles, l’ecole secondaire doit contribuer au developpement du pouvoir agir des jeunes. C’est en nous inspirant d’une posture transformatrice que nous avons aborde une thematique importante pour l’identite, l’histoire, la culture et l’economie de la societe quebecoise : le Saint-Laurent. Notre projet de recherche nous a conduits a nous interesser aux apprentissages significatifs ainsi qu’au sentiment de pouvoir agir de 26 eleves de 15-16 ans qui avaient documente des enjeux relatifs au Saint-Laurent et vecu une journee d’activites dans un parc naturel en bordure du Saint-Laurent, avec des experts. L’analyse thematique des propos d’eleves recueillis en fin de demarche pourrait inspirer une education a l’ocean pour tous, centree sur le developpement du pouvoir agir.
