Abstract
À partir d’une enquête qualitative, cette contribution s’intéresse aux effets de l’expérience du racisme et des discriminations dans les parcours d’étudiant·e·s en mobilité qui se sont installé·e·s en France. Elle montre que les socialisations migratoires, amicales, familiales et professionnelles tendent à éloigner le projet de départ du pays d’accueil. Mais certain·e·s étudiant·e·s, des années après leur diplôme, pensent quitter la France et recherchent un environnement plus favorable à l’étranger, notamment face à l’islamophobie, non seulement en raison d’expériences de racisme, mais aussi de la perception d’un contexte plus favorable ailleurs.
