Abstract
Professeure émérite de l’université Paris II Panthéon-Assas en Sciences de l’information et de la communication, Josiane Jouët se spécialise dans l’usage des technologies de l’information et de la communication et dans les pratiques d’information. Après sa soutenance en 1972 à l’université Paris-Descartes, elle a obtenu un master en journalisme en 1973 à l’Université Columbia à New York. Dans cet entretien, elle revient sur les grandes évolutions technologiques qui ont marqué les technologies de l’information en communication. Cette ouverture permet à la chercheuse d’expliciter ses intérêts de recherche et de réfléchir l’utilisation des outils numériques. Elle aborde notamment la période féconde des années 1980 et 1990, période durant laquelle elle a participé au développement de la sociologie des usages. Enfin, elle explicite son rapport à la recherche et ses questionnements méthodologiques.
