(Des)sexualización del cuerpo femenino en los performances de Rocío Boliver: Una mirada desde el cinismo crítico

Abstract
Este artículo propone una lectura de la obra performática de la artista mexicana Rocío Boliver desde el enfoque del cinismo crítico. La postura artística y política de las vanguardias del siglo veinte se asemeja a los principios del cinismo, una corriente filosófica que desde su génesis propone la desarticulación de discursos normativos que tienen efectos sobre el cuerpo. En este ensayo se realizará un paralelismo entre las prácticas corporales cínicas y el arte-acción. Posteriormente, se analizarán algunos performances de Rocío Boliver para demostrar su carácter cínico a partir de la restauración de la sexualidad femenina y su deconstrucción. Con ello, se evidenciará que tanto el cinismo como el performance proponen una resignificación del cuerpo, del arte y de sus convenciones sociales.
