Trois chercheurs chevronnés représentant des domaines distincts de la didactique du français font ici le point sur trois concepts jugés particulièrement centraux dans de nombreux travaux actuels : celui de « discipline », qui interroge à la fois le contexte scientifique dans lequel s’inscrivent les didacticiens du français et la nature de leur rapport aux objets ; celui de « progression », qui interroge à la fois l’attention portée au développement cognitif des élèves et la cohérence longitudinale tant des objets enseignés que des modalités d’enseignement ; et celui de « geste », qui porte la focale sur la dimension empirique « micro » de la pratique enseignante.
