Abstract
Considérant les enjeux et les limites de la « société de la connaissance », il importe de réorienter l’éducation et de privilégier à cet effet des processus d’apprentissage plus ancrés dans la communauté de vie et qui prennent en compte les réalités et problèmes écosociaux. À partir de cette prémisse, nous présentons une recherche-action dans le domaine de l’enseignement-apprentissage des sciences au préscolaire. Cette recherche nous a permis de mettre au point une démarche pédagogique qui articule quatre éléments clés : l’identification d’un phénomène à étudier dans le milieu de vie de l’enfant, la formulation de questions de médiation qui guident et stimulent l’investigation, l’instauration d’un dialogue interdisciplinaire et l’évaluation en tant que processus de régulation.
