A plusieurs égards, la décennie des années 2000 en éducation fut celle de l’impact du Programme international pour le suivi des acquis des élèves (PISA) sur l’analyse, le bilan et l’évaluation des systèmes éducatifs nationaux des pays de l’Organisation de coopération et de développement économique (OCDE). Pourtant, les résultats aux épreuves PISA n'ont pas toujours eu le même accueil et n’ont pas été conçus dans ce dessein. Ce texte présente et analyse la situation entre la Finlande et le Québec sur le sujet. Il aborde un certain nombre d’exemples qui illustre la problématique et les mythes associés au recours aux résultats du PISA pour valoriser un système éducatif.
