Abstract
Cet ouvrage analyse les relations qui existent entre les besoins du juriste dans sa compréhension du monde et la question du "réel du droit" -- et plus largement du "réel pour le droit". Cette question se décline sous diverses formes et offre d'examiner le rapport du droit à la vérité, l'analyse de la validité entendue comme modalité tenant à l'existence de la norme, la normativité ou la question de l'effectivité du droit. Le réel du droit ne serait ainsi lui-même qu'un effet de parallaxe entre diverses grilles interprétatives ou entre divers systèmes sociaux. Le droit comme système de médiation aurait alors pour fonction de masquer cette instabilité. Les divers travaux compris dans cet ouvrage cherchent, d'une manière ou d'une autre (le droit comparé, les rapports entre le droit et la littérature ou la technique, les recherches sur les concepts ou la signification en droit) à appréhender cette question.
