En dos páginas contiguas del cuarto tomo de la obra 36-39 Malos tiempos (Glénat, 2009) de Carlos Giménez, el protagonista da su versión sobre cuál fue el origen de la Guerra Civil española de 1936-1939, centrándose en la lucha de clases sociales y en la responsabilidad de los militares rebeldes. En esta escena hay una viñeta que considero «memorable» por su singular composición artística y por constituir un paréntesis narrativo que desequilibra el relato. En el presente artículo se analiza la «viñeta memorable» (texto e imagen) y se examinan las viñetas que la rodean y que configuran su pericampo.
