Abstract
Suite à la mobilisation des organisations féminines maliennes et à la pression de la communauté internationale, le Mali a adopté en 2009 un Code de la famille favorable à l’égalité des sexes. Aussitôt après son adoption, le code a suscité une telle polémique qu’il a finalement été remplacé en 2011 par une version ouvertement discriminatoire envers les femmes. Cet article explore ce retournement de situation et, particulièrement, l’échec des organisations féminines dans leur stratégies de mobilisation pour défendre le code face à ses détracteurs.
