Abstract
La notion de cadre s’inscrit dans une réflexion métapsychologique portant sur la méthode psychanalytique. Si elle semble désigner le besoin de diminuer les impacts de la perception afin de faciliter la régression et la production de retours du refoulé, elle répond surtout au besoin du psychisme d’utiliser la perception de réalités tangibles afin de répondre aux tendances pulsionnelles extinctives. Par l’immobilisation de celles-ci, le cadre participe au premier temps de l’après-coup et à la possibilité qu’advienne un second temps générateur. Dès lors son destin sera de s’effacer au profit de la pensée.
