Abstract
Die erste deutsche Bibel, so liest man sowohl bei wikipedia.de als auch in den einschlägigen Fachlexika, Monographien und Ausstellungskatalogen, wurde 1466 -oder genauer: vor dem 27.Juni 1466 -von Johann Mentelin in Straßburg gedruckt 1 .Der Druck enthält allerdings kein Kolophon und damit auch keine eigenen Informationen zu seiner Entstehung.Der terminus ante quem für den Zeitpunkt des Drucks geht handschriftlich aus dem Exemplar der Bayerischen Staatsbibliothek München hervor, das am 27.Juni 1466 von dem Augsburger Chronisten Hektor Mulich (* um 1420, † 1489/1490) gekauft wurde 2 .Neben dem Druckjahr nennt hingegen das Vorsatzblatt des Exemplars der Württembergischen Landesbibliothek Stuttgart in einem handschriftlichen Zusatz auch Drucker und Druckort: liber iste anno domini millesimo quadringentesimo sexagesimo sexto 1 Vgl.http://de.wikipedia.
