Abstract
Ainda são muitos os desafios que impedem as mulheres de iniciar e permanecer na área de tecnologia, e boa parte deles diz respeito a barreiras culturais e à falta de acolhimento nos ambientes acadêmicos e profissionais. A criação de comunidades femininas e a realização de eventos para esse público têm se mostrado importantes iniciativas para incentivá-las a crescer e também dar visibilidade a suas necessidades e seu potencial. O presente trabalho relata o impacto de uma dessas comunidades, iniciada em 2016 no Estado da Paraíba, e apresenta uma análise inicial do perfil das mulheres que a compõem em relação a aspectos como raça, idade e identidade de gênero.
