Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui secara empiris pengaruh brand image, kualitas produk dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian sepatu Converse di kota Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode non probably sampling. Kemudian dilakukan analisis terhadap data-data yang diperoleh berupa analisis kuantitatif, uji asumsi klasik, regresi berganda, uji t, uji F an uji koefisien determinan (R2). Berdasarkan analisis persamaan regresi dapat diketahui pengaruh brand image, kualitas produk dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian pada sepatu Converse di Surakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial brand image berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Untuk variabel kualitas produk secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhaap keputusan pembelian ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,224. Sedangkan untuk variabel harga secara parsial berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,033. Secara simultan brand image, kualitas produk dan harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian ditunjukkan dengan nilai F signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Kemampuan variabel brand image, kualitas produk dan harga menjelaskan keputusan pembelian sebesar 35,9% sebagaimana ditunjukkan dengan besarnya adjusted R Square sebesar 0,359 sedangkan sisanya 64,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabl lain yang tidak dimasukkan kedalam model penelitian antara lain lokasi dan promosi. Variabel brand image adalah variabel yang paling dominan dari 3 variabel independen yang berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian sepatu Converse di Surakarta, maka direkomendasikan agar perusahaan perlu lebih fokus mendorong peningkatan brand image agar keputusan pembelian meningkat.
