Abstract
La recherche sur la réadaptation et la réinsertion professionnelle des travailleurs avec des lésions professionnelles est relativement récente au Québec. Cet article présente un bilan de la recherche au Québec dans les 15 dernières années, soit depuis la publication du « rapport Spitzer ». Orienté principalement sur les développements dans le domaine des sciences humaines et sociales ainsi que clinique, cet article retrace les grandes étapes qui ont marqué cette histoire courte mais féconde. Les premières études ont fait prendre conscience d’une problématique de réinsertion professionnelle des travailleurs jusque-là pratiquement ignorée par les chercheurs. Très tôt orientée vers l’action, la recherche a cherché à outiller les intervenants et à développer de nouveaux modèles d’intervention. L’émergence de nouvelles formes de prise en charge qui allient les aspects cliniques et la prise de conscience de l’importance des facteurs reliés au milieu de travail dans la réinsertion professionnelle des travailleurs orientent les nouvelles recherches.
