Kreativitas guru agama adalah kemampuan untuk menemukan pemikiran tentang ide-ide baru dalam pemecahan masalah-masalah yang berkaitan dengan ilmu pengetahuan, khususnya pengetahuan tentang pendidikan agama Islam. Oleh karena itu, guru yang kreatif harus mempunyai rasa tertarik untuk mencari tentang perkembangan pendidikan agama Islam pada saat ini dan harapan untuk yang akan datang. Usaha untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agama Islam harus dibarengin dengan; guru yang berkualitas, peningkatan materi, peningkatan pemakaian metode dan peningkatan sarana dan prasarana. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjawab masalah pokok penelitian yaitu: untuk mendipenelitiankan kreativitas guru agama dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agama Islam, upaya yang dilakukan guru untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agama Islam serta faktor pendukung serta penghambat guru Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian yang dilakukan penulis ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif  sesuai dengan obyek ini, maka jenis penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori penelitian kepustakaan, pembahasan penelitian yang didapatkan dalam literatur-literatur dan sumber-sumber, dan atau penemuan terbaru mengenai
