Abstract A description is provided for Pseudophacidium ledi , found on woody stems and leaves of Ericaceae. Some information on its morphology, dispersal and transmission and conservation status is given, along with details of its geographical distribution (Canada (Alberta, British Columbia, Quebec), USA (Michigan, New Hampshire, Oregon, Washington), Russia (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Leningrad Oblast), Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland and UK) and hosts ( Betula pubescens, Calluna vulgaris, Calluna sp., Chamaedaphne calyculata, Juniperus communis, Ledum palustre, L. groenlandicum, Ledum sp., Picea abies, Rhododendron albiflorum, R. ferrugineum, R. hirsutum, Rhododendron sp., Salix caprea, Salix sp., Vaccinium angustifolium, V. macrocarpon, V. myrtillus, V. uliginosum, V. vitis-idaea and Vaccinium sp.).
