Pada masa pandemi covid-19, pemerintah telah mengeluarkan berbagai macam kebijakan yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi kerumunan manusia dalam bersosialisasi/social distancing. Meskipun dalam masa pandemi, pemerintah harus tetap melakukan pelayanan pernikahan karena hal tersebut merupakan hak dasar setiap warga negara. Dalam hal ini Dirjen Bimas Islam Kementerian Agama turut memberikan himbauan untuk melakukan kontrol terhadap pelayanan nikah kepada seluruh Kantor Urusan Agama di Indonesia. Kanwil Provinsi Jambi dalam hal ini merupakan salah satu pihak yang turut melaksanakan amanat tersebut. Penelitian ini berujuan untuk memberikan gambaran dan menganalisis implementasi pengendalian pelaksanaan pelayanan nikah pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di Provinsi Jambi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dalam menganalisis implementasi kebijakan pengendalian layanan pernikahan pada Kanwil Kemenag Provinsi Jambi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, secara umum terdapat penurunan angka pernikahan di Provinsi Jambi pada masa pandemi covid-19. Adapun berdasarkan hasil wawancara, pihak Kanwil telah melakukan berbagai strategi seperti bersikap tegas terhadap aturan, bekerja sama dengan stakeholder terkait dan berkomunikasi secara intens mengenai protokol kesehatan. Selain itu terdapat kendala baik yang berasal dari kelalaian calon pengantin maupun budaya masyarakatnya sendiri yang cenderung bergerombol. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan mampu mengevaluasi lebih dalam bagaimana perspektif dari masyarakat mengenai program nikah di KUA selama pandemi covid-19.
