Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Analyzing the data of archaeological excavations in the Church of Peter and Paul in Volokolamsk in 2017, the author identifies a group of finds (glass bracelet, cylindrical lock type B, gray ceramics with the ornament “oblique wave” of the early species), which have systemic similarities with the complex of finds from the construction 6 of the Great Moscow suburb of the late 13th – the first half of the 14th century, studied during excavations on Red Square in 1988. This makes it possible to determine the time of deposition of the front half of the bronze cross-encolpion, which belongs to the group of encolpions with the image of the Crucifixion on the front and the Virgin Agiosoritissa (intercessor) on the reverse side (type II.4.3 according to G. F. Korzukhina – A. A. Peskova). Based on the analysis of the materials obtained during the excavations, it was suggested that the monastery appeared in the last quarter of the 13th – beginning of 14th century.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
