Wielowymiarowa wspolpraca Wladyslawa hr. Zamoyskiego i św. Brata Alberta stanowi wazny fragment tradycji Zakopanego. Dzialalnośc ich przypada na czas rozwoju miejscowości, ktora stawala sie nie tylko znanym kurortem, ale tez centrum polskiego zycia duchowego i politycznego. Dzieki pomocy Zamoyskiego św. Albert zbudowal u podnoza Tatr pustelnie, w ktorej bywali m.in. wybitni artyści Mlodej Polski. W realizowanej konsekwentnie przez Zamoyskiego wizji Zakopanego enklawa modlitwy i kontemplacji stala sie elementem nieodzownym. Istnieją świadectwa, wedlug ktorych hrabia odczuwal powolanie zakonne i zwracal sie w tej sprawie do zalozyciela albertynow. Odmowa św.
