Abstract
Latar Belakang: Semakin tua kemampuan tubuh semakin berkurang sehingga diperlukan penanganan lanjutan terhadap penyakit hipertensi. Pola diit yang menitik beratkan pada buah-buahan dan produk-produk berkadar lemak rendah dapat menurunkan tekanan darah secara signifikan. Kandungan kalium dalam buah tomat dapat menurunkan tekanan darah dengan mengurangi natrium dalam urine dan air dengan cara yang sama seperti diuretik. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian jus tomat terhadap tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas Purwosari Kudus.Metode: Jenis penelitian quasi experiment design dengan pendekatan non equivalent control group. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas Purwosari Kudus bulan Januari-Maret 2021 sebanyak 62 orang, dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 38 orang. Variabel independennya pemberian jus tomat, dan variabel dependennya tekanan darah. Analisa data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil Penelitian: Hasil uji Wilcoxon didapatkan nilai p value 0,003 0,05 artinya ada pengaruh pemberian jus tomat terhadap tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas Purwosari Kudus.Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh pemberian jus tomat terhadap tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas Purwosari Kudus.
