Abstract
Respectivement chercheur à l'Observatoire sur les États-Unis de la Chaire Raoul-Dandurand et doctorant en sociologie à l'Université́ du Québec à Montréal L' automne montréalais de 2017 a été marqué, avec l'élection de Projet Montréal (PM) et la création du collectif Gauche urbaine de Montréal (GUM), par un regain d'intérêt pour les perspectives progressistes sur le droit à la ville.L' année 2019, pour sa part, constitue non seulement l' année de mi-mandat de PM, mais comporte aussi deux anniversaires importants pour la gauche municipale québécoise, soit le cinquantenaire de la fondation du Front d' action politique (FRAP) et le 45 e anniversaire de la fondation du Rassemblement des citoyens de Montréal (RCM), ce dernier ayant été au pouvoir de la métropole entre 1986 et 1994.
