Abstract
Partant de l’analyse comparative de la scène du miroir dans La Vie Tranquille et Aurélia Steiner (Vancouver), nous sommes amenés à nous demander si Françou, premier personnage à porter la narration à la première personne, n’est pas celui qui ouvre la voie à une appréhension du rapport à l’identité qui tendra à s’affirmer au fil du temps. Françou, prémices d’Aurélia, n’est-elle pas celle qui conduit également l’écrit à se poser la question des origines, du premier mot et du premier cri d’amour ?
