El poder ejecutivo envio una propuesta de reforma energetica de Mexico, esta fue aprobada por el legislativo, siendo publicada en el Diario Oficial de la Federal el pasado 9 de marzo de 2021, lo cual ha provocado que se presentaran pronunciamientos de varios tipos, algunos de temor o riesgos para la industria de energias renovables, otras del sector privado, por companias que cuentan o buscan premiso para generar electricidad, como de los paises de Estados Unidos, Canada y Europa, incluso a nivel internaciones por incumplimiento del Tratado de libre comercio (t-mec).
