Dans cet article, la normativité du milieu éducatif est étudiée à la lumière de représentations littéraires et cinématographiques multiculturelles, italiennes, françaises, québécoises, étasuniennes et maghrébines contemporaines. Un intertexte de classiques met en évidence la persistance et l’évolution de certaines normes dont le calque de la distribution des rôles au sein de la famille patriarcale hétéronomative. Le milieu éducatif normé soumet ses acteurs à l’épreuve de l’espace disciplinaire qui conserve l’idéal du corps sain. Ces fictions critiquent également la normativité coloniale qui imprègne encore les esprits, sur le plan de la représentation et de l’imaginaire.
