Abstract
La pratique interdisciplinaire pour trouver des solutions aux problèmes de développement en Afrique est prônée par plus d’un penseur. Et le sociologue et théologien camerounais Jean-Marc Ela, d’heureuse mémoire, fait partie de ceux-là. En effet, chez lui, sociologie (sciences sociales) et théologie sont deux disciplines qui s’appellent, s’interpellent et se complètent. La connaissance et la pratique de la sociologie quotidienne deviennent, pour lui, une voie d’évangélisation, de développement et de libération du peuple africain. Cet article développe donc la manière dont les deux sciences entrent en dialogue. En outre, il veut répondre à la préoccupation de la réception de la riche pensée de Jean-Marc Ela et de son infatigable engagement, au moment où nous célébrons le dixième anniversaire de sa mort.
