Abstract
O objetivo desse trabalho foi relatar um caso de cromodacriorréia, em Golden Retriever, causada por entrópio, e assim contribuir para a literatura e auxiliar o clínico de animais de companhia na especialidade de oftalmologia. Atendeu-se um cão, no Setor de Oftalmologia do Hospital Veterinário da Universidade Federal de Jataí, da raça Golden Retriever, com 18 meses de idade, sob queixa principal de cromodacriorréia bilateral há seis meses, não responsiva a tratamentos anteriores com colírios antibióticos, lubrificantes e modificação da dieta. Durante o exame oftálmico foi observada cromodacriorréia bilateral acentuada, bem como discreta hiperemia conjuntival. Observou-se no olho esquerdo uma inversão acentuada da pálpebra inferior, enquanto do lado direito, discreta inversão. A prova de tingimento pela fluoresceína foi negativa. O teste de Jones foi positivo para ambos os lados evidenciando drenagem eficiente da lágrima e normalidade do ducto nasolacrimal. Concluiu-se que o animal apresentava a cromodacriorréia bilateral devido ao entrópio e foi realizada blefaroplastia Hotz-Celsus.
