Abstract
Chaque ville possède des zones dépourvues de circulation humaine durant le jour ou la nuit. Par la réclusion qu’ils comportent, ces lieux rendent vulnérables quiconque s’y aventure et particulièrement les femmes. Afin de remédier à cette situation, l’organisme Conscience Urbaine fait le pari qu’en modifiant un lieu par l’art, cela changera les perceptions, augmentera la fréquentation et par conséquent la sécurité du lieu. Plus qu’un simple projet d’art dans l’espace public, on parle d’une action concertée qui repose sur la coopération des différents acteurs pouvant agir sur le lieu. Nous avons suivi les projets de Conscience urbaine durant l’été et l’automne 2015 pour comprendre comment ceux-ci pouvaient s’inscrire dans une démarche d’innovation sociale. Nous avons également observé la démarche du point de vue des modèles des changements profonds pour parvenir à comprendre ce qui freinait ou alimentait l’innovation et la créativité dans le processus d’action de l’organisme.
