RESUMO: O artigo apresenta a secao  hippika , epigramas equestres, de Posidipo de Pela, que se encontra no papiro de Milao, publicado em 2001 e datado do seculo II a.C. Partindo de pressupostos concernentes ao contexto historico, a divisao tematica dos epigramas de Posidipo no papiro de Milao e a subdivisao dos  hippika  proposta por Fantuzzi (2004), sera discutido como o epigramatista adequa a materia epinicia da vitoria nas corridas de cavalos ao genero epigramatico.
