Songlines - las caminatas sonoras como espacio para la memoria: el tranvía de la Ciudad de Panamá

Abstract
Durante la última década las caminatas sonoras han constituido una práctica artística para conocer culturalmente un territorio. Las ciudades son escenarios fascinantes y sus paisajes nos brindan esa conexión que abre una puerta hacia secretos socioculturales y políticos. Desde hace años, he dedicado mi investigación artística al entretejido entre la ciudad, el sonido y la memoria. En este artículo compartiré mi experiencia sonora al recorrer el desaparecido tranvía de la Ciudad de Panamá. De estas caminatas, he determinado que cada ciudad, como personas, tienen un tipo de cicatriz profunda, estas se convierten en rutas o songlines, las que nos mueven sin saberlo. ¿Qué sucede con los recuerdos cuando nos enfrentamos a cambios en las urbes? “Songlines” es la búsqueda de mi herencia familiar mapeando las complejidades sonoras sobre el borroso tranvía.
