Dans ce texte, nous discutons du style d’apprentissage dans une perspective de développement. Nous examinons d’abord les processus dynamiques de la construction de la représentation de soi comme apprenant sous l’angle dumodèle de la redescription de la représentation de Karmiloff-Smith. Nous abordons ensuite la structure de la personnalité, les modalités d’accès à l’information, les capacités intellectuelles, les préférences individuelles et la métacognition comme facteurs de développement qui marquent le style d’apprentissage. La conclusion est une réflexion sur les dimensions du contexte au regard du style d’apprentissage.
