Abstract
L’agriculture est sans nul doute l’un des secteurs les plus touchés par les changements climatiques. Si son adaptation est une source importante d’émissions de gaz à effet de serre, elle représente toujours un défi majeur, surtout pour les pays du Sud. C’est un secteur vital de leur économie, pourvoyeur d’emplois et garant de la sécurité alimentaire. Le régime juridique international du climat ne s’est néanmoins pas assez intéressé à cette problématique. Cela se constate non seulement dans les textes conventionnels, mais aussi dans les décisions de la Conférence des Parties (COP) et jusque dans le financement des projets et des programmes du mécanisme financier. Après l’avancée constatée à la 17e session de la COP, l’Action commune de Koronivia pour l’agriculture est l’initiative la plus marquante pour l’agriculture dans le régime du climat. Il faudra continuer sa mise en oeuvre dans l’objectif d’aboutir à l’établissement d’un vrai plan d’action pour ce secteur.
