Abstract
Cet article s’intéresse à l’analyse politique des centres scolaires et communautaires en milieu francophone minoritaire. La genèse de ce modèle scolaire est tracée à partir de son émergence à Fredericton jusqu’à sa multiplication dans les autres provinces canadiennes. Le modèle est décrit afin d’illustrer son originalité et de montrer son intérêt pour le développement des communautés francophones. Par ailleurs, si les centres scolaires et communautaires doivent s’affirmer comme une perspective d’avenir pour l’éducation en français au Canada, il est urgent d’en faire l’évaluation. L’approche proposée consiste à donner la parole aux acteurs des centres scolaires et communautaires afin de dégager le sens qu’ils font de leur expérience.
