Abstract
Использованные для написания данной статьи документы относятся к первой четверти ХХ в. и отражают особенности работы епархиальных наблюдателей во время ревизий церковно-приходских школ того периода. В статье раскрывается транспортная логистика до назначенного В. В. Попеско пункта, дается этнографическая характеристика местного населения, описываются климатогеографические особенности края. Актуальность исследования заключается в раскрытии особенностей работы епархиального наблюдателя в условиях зимнего периода и отдаленности инспектируемой школы. Новизна работы состоит в подробном описании работ, выполненных епархиальным наблюдателем в Нельканской одноклассной церковно-приходской школе. Цель данной статьи — освещение и анализ фактографических данных о работе епархиальных наблюдателей в Якутии. Результатом является введение в научный оборот новых сведений из архивных источников о деятельности Якутской епархии в области народного просвещения.
