t age four, Jordan Anderson passed away in the hospital.He never lived in a home environment.Several years passed before Dr. Jon Gerrard requested to set aside the ordinary business of the Manitoba Legislative Assembly to make this a matter of urgent public importance.To some members of the House, there remained no greater concern than the crisis within Manitoba's Child and Family Services divisions.Children were not being treated equally, denied the love of their families, and dying in the system.Notwithstanding this exigency, the Speaker of the House deemed Dr. Gerrard's discussion as not pressing enough
