Abstract
国内患者数約４万人と推定される神経線維腫症１型(neurofibromatosis type 1：NF1)は，半数以上がNF1遺伝子の孤発性突然変異と考えられる希少遺伝性疾患である。カフェ・オ・レ斑などの色素斑や神経線維腫はときに整容性を損ない患者の大きな精神的苦痛となるほか，神経線維腫が悪性腫瘍化することもあり，本邦では指定難病および小児慢性特定疾病の対象疾患にも指定されている。これまでは対症療法が中心であったが，近年では腫瘍増殖を抑制するMEK1/2阻害薬が希少疾病用医薬品に指定され，治療法に変化も生じつつある。そこで福岡大学医学部皮膚科学教室の古賀文二先生に，皮膚科の立場からNF1診療の現状や今後の展望について解説をお願いした。
