À la suite d’une quête de témoignages poétiques de filles et de femmes autochtones du Québec et du Mexique sur le thème du courage, cet article présente les résultats d’une démarche d’art-thérapie qui permet de relier l’esprit de résilience dans ses aspects à la fois intimes et politiques. Autour du thème du courage, défini comme la force du coeur nécessaire pour se sortir de situations difficiles, des femmes parfois accompagnées de leurs enfants ont été invitées, par le biais d’ateliers d’art, tant au Québec qu’au Mexique, à créer des témoignages de fierté qui allient le visuel avec l’écrit. Plus de 70 photomontages (textes et images) permettent de mieux comprendre les défis des peuples autochtones et leurs luttes sociales.
