Abstract
La lodyans , ce savoir-faire propre à l’Haïtien de rendre succinctement compte par exemple d’une histoire avec à la fois un esprit critique et un sens de l’humour très particulier, se transmet de génération en génération. En même temps, elle peut servir à transmettre le savoir local, à mettre en valeur l’identité collective et à critiquer l’ordre social dominant. Peu de chercheurs s’intéressent à ce patrimoine culturel immatériel. Cet article vise à analyser la lodyans dans sa dimension dialectique, et particulièrement suivant les perspectives du professeur Maximilien Laroche. Que veut dire « Bay lodians »? Quelle est la place de Justin Lhérisson dans l’art de la lodyans ? Comment mobiliser la lodyans dans l’enseignement des sciences?
