Abstract
Por mas de 500 anos America Latina ha sido un escenario predilecto de despojo por parte de los paises hegemonicos detentores del po-der, los cuales valiendose de diferentes estrategias se han apropiado de los recursos que pertenecen a sus habitantes. Este avasallamiento colonial ha usurpado la soberania de los pueblos latinoamericanos, violentando su cultura, imaginarios sociales y costumbres.
