Abstract
L’expression « art contemporain » a imposé dans l’usage l’emploi absolu du mot « contemporain ». Or cet emploi, s’il n’est fautif, est au moins intrinsèquement paradoxal, dans la mesure où « contemporain » inscrit dans sa construction même une relativité temporelle.
