Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract Designing economic and efficient electrocatalysts for both oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) is desired to produce green hydrogen through electrochemical water splitting. Herein, a Ni 9 S 8 /MoS 2 decorated NiMoO 4 nanorod heterostructure (Ni 9 S 8 /MoS 2 @NiMoO 4 ) is successfully developed via a facile hydrothermal process followed by a direct sulfurization. The resulting hierarchical nanoarchitecture with outer Ni 9 S 8 /MoS 2 nanosheets shell on the inner NiMoO 4 core supplies affordable active sites and plentiful charge transportation channels in continuous heterointerfaces. Accordingly, the Ni 9 S 8 /MoS 2 @NiMoO 4 only needs low overpotentials of 190 and 360 mV to enable 10 mA cm −2 current density for HER and OER in alkaline solution, respectively. This work provides a rational strategy for designing electrocatalysts with high efficiency for water splitting, enlightening the road of developing low‐cost bifunctional materials in energy conversion area.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
