Abstract
La pregunta existencial que cada ser humano hace, quizas desde un momento muy temprano de su vida de ?quien soy yo?, aparenta ser para muchos un interrogante cuya respuesta no debe conllevar dificul-tad alguna. Si alguien presenta alguna confusion al respecto, se le suele indicar que debe tener en cuenta su lugar de nacimiento, los padres y la familia en que nacio y crecio y las experiencias que como ser humano ha vivenciado hasta el momento; y la respuesta a tan fundamental in-quietud emerge en su obviedad. Esta postura, por lo comun senala que este es un interrogante exclusivamente respondido por quien lo for-mula, por lo que el otro solo cuenta como obstaculo. Cualquier otro, quienquiera que sea, padre, hermano, amigo de toda la vida, pareja, no podria arrogarse el derecho de contribuir a la autopercepcion que cada quien tiene de si mismo. La identidad individual seria un asunto de autodescubrimientos por lo que los otros, por definicion externos a nuestro ser individual, carecerian de la legitimidad y del conocimiento necesarios para aportar en la realizacion de tal tarea.
