Entendiendo la Cooperación desde la convicción de que nadie puede llegar a la meta si no llegamos todos, la Cooperación Española ha querido ser el acompañante de los procesos nacionales de cambio, dejando el liderazgo a los países en sus procesos de desarrollo. Con un enfoque de partenariado, España sigue trabajando mano a mano con sus países socios para generar estímulos para el cambio e intercambio de conocimientos y buenas prácticas que favorezcan sociedades más justas, inclusivas y sostenibles. La Agenda 2030 avala esa dinámica que permita aprovechar al máximo el papel que los países pueden jugar para impulsar su propio desarrollo y sitúa a la Cooperación Española a la vanguardia de las políticas de desarrollo, especialmente en un momento necesitado de un esfuerzo adicional de solidaridad y cooperación ante el impacto de la crisis del COVID–19.
