Abstract
Die 36 340 Beratungen zu Giftexpositionen entsprachen 32 480 Vergiftungsfllen (Tab. 1), da zum Teil mehrere Beratungen zu einem Fall stattfinden. 17 719 der Flle (54,6%) betrafen Kinder, davon waren 14 359 (81,0%) jnger als 5 Jahre. Bei der Geschlechtsverteilung war bei den Kindern ein leichtes berwiegen der Knaben (51,4%) gegenber den Mdchen (47,5%) und bei den Erwachsenen der Frauen (57,1%) gegenber den Mnnern (42,3%) zu sehen. Von den 26 291 unbeabsichtigten (akzidentellen) Vergiftungsfllen ereigneten sich 89% im huslichen Umfeld, bei den 4445 beabsichtigten Intoxikationen trat die grsste Anzahl (69,5%)
