Abstract
[The following materials are taken from the Instructor’s Resources CD (ICRD) written by Lynne Ann DeSpelder, Albert Lee Strickland and Carol Fern Berns and published with the 7th edition of Last Dance: Encountering Death and Dying (New York: McGraw-Hill, 2005)]. The Deathography and the I Learned papers are assigned at the beginning of the term and students are encouraged to make notes for them, as the course progresses. first paper is due at the end of the first quarter of the term; the second at the end of the term. In addition, we have included assignments for students who wish to obtain extra credit, as well as, an in class activity using hard to find video tapes of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood.
