Abstract
Après un projet de concertation ambitieux de près de quatre ans, l’exposition C’est notre histoire : Premières Nations et Inuit du XXIe siècle (Musée de la civilisation de Québec, 2013) se présente comme un espace multimédial où artefacts, oeuvres d’art, éléments informatifs et témoignages filmés se partagent l’attention des visiteurs. Plutôt que d’aborder l’exposition sous l’angle de la collaboration et de son efficacité, cette étude de cas approche C’est notre histoire à travers son dispositif médiatique centré autour de la parole autochtone filmée et exposée. L’étude de la chaîne de remédiation de la parole, de la captation vidéographique à son exposition, et les différentes institutions auxquelles le témoignage filmé-exposé se rattache interrogent finalement le potentiel de ces objets dans le contexte de la décolonisation progressive des musées ethnographiques et de société.
