Abstract
Antecedentes: En el ano del 121 aniversario del nacimiento de Florence Nightingale y durante la pandemia del COVID-19, es interesante y oportuno recordar la labor de esta famosa mujer que inicio la enfermeria moderna. Su labor relacionado con la atencion de enfermeria y la politica publica y de salud y sido una base solida y continua para la practica en las sociedades de todo el mundo. Metodos: En esta breve comunicacion sobre la investigacion historica, se describen varios aspectos de la vida y obra de Florence, asi como los lugares, los monumentos y los museos importantes para su recuerdo sobre ella. Resultados: El presente trabajo se centra en la descripcion de un botiquin de medicamentos de mayor tamano, pero poco conocido, localizado en la Facultad de Enfermeria de la Universidad de Saskatchewan, en Saskatoon, SK, Canada, y que se atribuye como perteneciente a Florence. Conclusion: El mas conocido hasta ahora es un botiquin mas pequeno que se encuentra en el Museo Florence Nightingale en Londres
