Abstract
En): This essay deals with the portrayal of the Haitian community in Montreal in Georges Anglade's and Stanley Péan's satirical texts (lodyans).The comparative analysis shows that the generation gap between the two authors influences their representation of the relationship between Haitian immigrants, Haiti and Quebec.It also has an impact on their identity issues.Anglade's generation is melancholic, nostalgic and often isolated.His narration is characterized by humor based on the contrast between North and South, modernity and tradition, but is not connected to reality.To Anglade's centripetal perspective, Péan opposes a centrifuge position.In fact, he is open to the different social classes and he is deeply involved in social issues (racism, discrimination, cultural gaps).His humor, often self-directed, is based on the opposition between the attachment to the community of the Haitian taxi drivers and the transnational condition of his autobiographical main character.
